New York & Washington, D.C.November 1, 2021—The Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE), a leading professional membership organization serving all professionals working in the built environment, has contracted with The McMorrow Reports, a digital media resource specializing in the facilities management, design, and planning arena for commercial and institutional built environments to publish AFE’s monthly newsletters.

Since 1915, AFE has been a leading technical education and credentialing resource for facilities management and facilities engineering professionals. AFE brings together professionals who ensure the optimal operation of high-rise commercial real estate, industrial plants, classified and non-classified government facilities, campuses of higher education, and medical centers around the world. AFE’s mission is to provide tools and resources to enhance the expertise and broaden the connections of facilities management professionals worldwide.

Founded in 2004, The McMorrow Reports is the publisher of The McMorrow Reports for Facility Management and Design Insights and FMLink digital information platforms dedicated to elevating the FM profession. The McMorrow Reports and FMLink newsletters reach a combined North American and worldwide audience of more than 68,000 subscribers. As a media organization, The McMorrow Reports focuses on the designed and built environments in airports, commercial/office, healthcare, higher education, and government and hospitality, with monthly newsletters serving those vertical markets.

Now with the agreement to publish the AFE newsletter, the McMorrow Reports, FMLink and AFE monthly newsletter reach extends to an audience of over 80,000 unique subscribers and includes one of the most significant audience components in the built environment—the facilities engineers audience—with a dedicated monthly newsletter

“The facilities engineering profession consists of digitally savvy professionals who spend their days solving problems for their companies, organizations, hospitals or institutions while conducting long-term planning for the future of where and how people will perform their work even now where work is largely something you do and not a place you go,” says McMorrow. “The time is ideal to partner with the Association for Facilities Engineering to ensure this critical audience is properly served with timely information.”

McMorrow, along with McMorrow Reports’ Publisher Michael Walsh, are enormously impressed by the Association for Facilities Engineering and what it offers the facilities engineering profession in terms of resources, from education to networking. AFE is an industry pioneer that has been an industry voice for over 100 years and helping corporate and institutional facilities owners understand the value of facilities engineering professionals.”

AC Powell CEO of AFE says, “this partnership for 2022 and beyond will take advantage of our complementary strengths that will greatly enhance the AFE newsletter experience for facilities engineering professionals and those who wish to reach them.”

“The AFE newsletter is a perfect addition to The McMorrow Reports. In combination, we expand our reach to this critical built environment audience component,” says Michael Walsh, publisher of The McMorrow Reports and FMLink.

The McMorrow Reports, FMLink and AFE enjoy deep relationships with industry manufacturers, service providers, and conferences and trade shows serving facility management and related professions, and with this new partnership look to serve them even better.
