CarolAnn K. Maslanka, PE, CPE, is a Principal Environmental Engineer at AECOM, based in Germantown, Maryland. Carol has more than forty years of experience in process engineering, industrial water and wastewater treatment, regulatory compliance, environmental due diligence, and facilities engineering. Her work experience includes manufacturing facilities, utilities, and consulting. Carol earned BS Chemical Engineering and MEng (Environmental) degrees and holds PE licenses in six states and the District of Columbia. Her work experiences have taken her to nearly all fifty states, Puerto Rico, Canada, and numerous countries in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East to undertake environmental, health and safety compliance audits and assist clients in developing, evaluating, and implementing environmental management systems.  Carol has been a member of AFE since 1989, and served in various positions in local, regional, and national committees and offices, including National President in 2005.
