ABOUT THE ORDER OF FACILITIES MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONALS
The Order of Facilities Management Professionals (The Order) recognizes the accomplishments of facilities management professionals and students who through their leadership, mentorship and scholarship advance the state of the art in the built environment around the world. The Order consists of two constituent components: The Assembly of Fellows and the Phi Phi Pi Honors Society. Membership in The Order signifies an unparalleled commitment to excellence. Moreover, Members of The Order serve as life-long ambassadors of the association, advancing the mission of AFE by sharing their knowledge, expertise and talents with the global FM community.
ASSEMBLY OF FELLOWS
Together with the Phi Phi Pi Honors Society, the Assembly of Fellows forms one of the constituent parts of the Order of Facilities Management Professionals. Induction into the Assembly of Fellows is the highest honor conferred by the association. Each year only a handful of AFE Members who have demonstrated their commitment to advancing the profession through their expertise and leadership will be bestowed the honor of induction. As induction into the Assembly of Fellows signifies a life-long commitment to leadership and learning, AFE Fellows receive life membership status in the Association for Facilities Engineering. Additionally, AFE Fellows also hold the dual distinction of Fellow in AFE but also as affiliate members of The Phi Phi Pi Society (FFP), an international honors society recognizing the accomplishments of architectural and design, construction management, engineering and facilities management students across the globe. An important component of being an ambassador of AFE involves serving as a mentor to the emerging professionals who will become the next generation of thought leaders to the built environment.
