The core competencies identified shall include competencies relating to building operations and maintenance, energy management, sustainability, water efficiency, safety (including electrical safety), and building performance measures."

AFE’s Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM), Certified Plant Engineer (CPE), and Certified Plant Supervisor (CPS), are aligned with the FBPTA and meet FBPTA requirements.  These qualifications are included in the 2015 Core Competencies and FBPTA Recommended Curriculum and have been added to the Accelerate FM tool.
