Corporate Member Program Fosters Enterprise-Wide Excellence
To encourage wider use of AFE's resources, and thus foster facilities engineering excellence, the association has launched a new Corporate Member program.
The goal is to provide employers with a simple way to ensure all their facilities personnel have unified access to current, relevant knowledge.
"When I learn that one of our members is the only person in his multi-site corporation who belongs to AFE, or who is one of our certified professionals, I am reminded of the old saying about the sound of 'one hand clapping' - it doesn't get heard," CEO Laurence Gration said. "Obviously, that member's efforts at facilities engineering and maintenance best practices are going to have more impact if they are supported by those of his co-workers, supervisors and executives. AFE's new program enables employers to enroll numerous people in membership at once, thus aiding across-the-board, rather than piecemeal, improvement."
